Millie Mnookin, nee Pelofsky, age 63, beloved wife of Barry for 42 fantastic years; devoted daughter of the late Louis and Naomi Pelofsky and stepdaughter of the late Sam Yagan; Cherished mother of Daniel (Maria), Michael (Debbie Kaplan, fiancee) and Joshua (Caroline Topolinski); Proud and loving Grammy of Jack: dearest sister of Joel (Brenda) Pelofsky and the late Larry (Janie) Pelofsky; loving aunt of Mark (Kari Tannenbaum) Pelofsky, Carl (Kyla) Pelofsky, Lisa, Eric and Jeremy Pelofsky; caring daughter in law of Loraine (the late Milton) Mnookin: fond sister in law of Cathy Curtis and Julie Dornbush; dear Cousin and friend to many. Millie….we hardly knew you. We were so happy to meet you and Barry and Jack. …. Randomly walking down Adams Street. I knew we’d be good friends just in a 10 minute encounter. Sandy thought so too when she made dinner plans for us. So we liked you a lot even though we just met.

It is so shocking…yet in a way, it is a testament to you that your presence and warmth came through immediately.

Sandy and I look forward to being a good friends and neighbors to Barry and hope that somehow you know the fine impression you made on us in the very brief time we had to know you.
